Conductive Textile Embroidery

2030

Embroidery and textiles are traditional crafts of Castrignano. Starting from 2030, local researchers tested conductive textile production in order to integrate electronic elements in traditional decorative patterns. The success of the project was followed by the creation of a new kind of handicraft, able to merge traditional embroidery with new technologies.
