Lettering Tool is a calligraphic typography tool for Adobe Illustrator that explorer half manual, half automated design processes.

The Open Font Library is a sister project of the Open Clip Art Library. The goal of this project is to collect free software fonts - those that may be used, changed and shared freely.
Currently, the Wiki for this project has more information, and you are free to edit and improve it!

Workshop @ TORRE DI NEBBIA
Salute a tutti, confermo il workshop che si terrà Giovedì e Venerdì,
(25 e 26), dalle ore 10.00 della mattina, alle ore 20.00 circa della
sera, ad altamura presso la masseria TORRE DI NEBBIA.
ARGOMENTO DEL WORKSHOP
il workshop trattera del disegno dei caratteri, affrontando la
realizzazione pratica con il software fontlab di un alfabeto.
Il disegno delle lettere sarà basato su una griglia iniziale, fornita
a tutti i partecipanti, sulla quale ognuno potrà disegnare le proprie
lettere, e le varianti delle stesse lettere.
Consigliamo la partecipazione perché si affronta un tema importante
della progettazione grafica, e si approfondisce un aspetto pratico del
mestiere, il disegno vettoriale mediante le curve di beziér.

Jas Bhachu, who will soon graduate from Liverpool School of Art & Design, has created this Rubik’s Cube Font Generator
The Font Generator has rubber stamps attached to four faces of the cube, with two faces blank. The modular elements of the stamps can be combined to form characters which can then be printed.
